Mixing patterns & styles: Tendresse Féline

Sometimes it is lovely to get finished early enough at work and change into something a bit smarter for the school run. It is just cool enough to warrant a jacket to wear with my beloved Tendresse Féline.

Not any old jacket but a zebra print job which clashes pleasingly with the leopard's spots.

Something more refined next time ;)

  1. I do love your shawl, the colourway is just perfect for you . I imagine it must be difficult trying to pry yourself away sometimes !
I love the insouciance of throwing on one of these lovely things , to say nothing of the cosy factor.

    1. Thank you, Estrella and I know you adore the GM's at least as much as I do.

  2. Love your animal analogy between zebra pattern and tigers! Your jacket is so stylish! And as Estrella says, the colorway of this shawl is truly perfect for you, especially amazing harmony with your hair color!

    1. Iris, tank you and I think this scarf is quite neutral despite the animal print and would suit many people. I could see this with dark hair as well as on a blonde.

  3. Thumbs up for the school run chic - in my book, if you're going to do animal prints you may as well pile them on to maintain the tongue in cheek factor as I can't agree with the mantra that wearing any animal print equals instant style. However, if you're doing animal print, hey. a zebra print jacket in browns is a confident sartorial statement!

    1. Confident or simply don't care, the jury is out, dear pussywillow. Apart from a spotty dress that comes vaguely close, the jacket is my only animal print item but I saw the shades of brown and had to have it. It is good to branch out a little once in a while I find. And tongue in cheek is very me ...
